There was a big turn out of current and prospective members for the Club’s introductory walk in the Blackstairs Sunday 26th September 2021. Walkers new to the hills got a flavour of what might be encountered on a typical hillwalk including stream crossing , wind and rain. This was the first such an event since Covid 19 interrupted club activity on many levels. The traditional route took in Clorogue Mor and Stoney Top with the keener participants throwing in Knockroe in squally rain showers. The two groups were reunited afterwards at Bowe’s Kiltealy.
