Two groups of walkers explored the Fearbreaga/Seefin area for Sunday’s schedule. Strong, gusting winds and fleeting moments of wonderful golden sunlight made for an atmospheric walk.
The 3 boot walk began on the East side of Fearbreaga, did the circuit of that coum, headed North for Seefin then descended via the Western spur of the Tay valley.
The 2 boot group began at a beautiful viewing point on the Marmur road near the Dalligan bridge. The scheduled route was to summit Fearbreaga, go on to Bearnanamadra and return lowlevel to the cars. However the ‘added, optional extra’ of a climb to the top of Seefin, 726m, was a welcomed challenge for the group.
