A club trip to the Picos has just returned after a very enjoyable six days walking in fabulous weather with spectacular views of different areas of the southern Picos. The holiday was conceived by committee member , Barry Dolan back in the dark days of winter and resulted in a group of 14 signing up for the trip.
Base was near the pretty town of Potes which meant there was little travel time required to get to the walks. The most spectacular walk of the week , all would agree, was the Cares Gorge but the other walks revealed some of the other beautiful panoramas of this justifiably famed walking area
