The Coumshingaun area of the Comeraghs presented itself in glorious conditions, after the deluge of the previous 24hrs., for the club scramble.
The group had plenty of opportunities for ‘warming-up’ in the boulder field on the approach to the lake. Ascent to the Northern skyline was via some interesting rock outcrops.
The group continued on the circuit of the coum with deviations from the usual horseshoe route finishing with the skyline of the Southern ridge.
