Over 40 walkers took part in the annual introductory walk on Sunday 5th Oct on the slopes of Mt. Leinster. As usual an early pause was made at the former Shannon residence where Mr. Andrew Lloyd related the bombing of the farmhouse on 2 January 1941 and his discovery of the Knockroe Ringstone. Lunch was had on Cloroge More , after which the group tackled the pull up to Stoney Top. The more adventurous continued on to Mount Leinster summit ! Many thanks to all the leaders who turned out and to MC for the day , John A
