Micheál Brennan, from the Tullow Mountaineering Club kindly led the “easy/moderate” walk (mapped below) in the Comeraghs in relativedly pleasant conditions. Coumshingaun lake was exited by a short sharp scramble up the western flank and the group enjoyed fine views of the lakes on the northern side of the plateau . Thank you Micheál! Thanks are also due to Paul Delahunty who led the “moderate” walk from Comeragh Mountain across the plateau and down to Lough Coumfea on the northern side.
