A group of 15 led by Blackstairs native Martin Codd tackled what must be the most direct (and steepest!) route from Ballycrystal to the masts on Mt Leinster in mostly clear and mild conditions with great views of the southern Blackstairs range. And as Martin promised the group were off the mountain by 2 30 with plenty of time for refreshments in Bowe’s of Kiltealy before the turkey was collected!!
