Missing some of the group who had gone rock climbing , the rest took on the six hour round trip from Capel Curig up along the Glyder Ridge to the summit at 994m and the spectacular Cantilver Stone
The remainder of the club members having arrived , a group of 15 set off for what turned out to be a nine hour day which saw an ascent of Snowdon and a rather steep descent off Bwlchysaethau to the Miners’ Track!
The advance party of club members began with some rope practice as a warm up exercise for the following week’s strenuous activity, followed by a ridge walk from Clogwyn to Bwlch-y-Maen with snow lying in places [slideshow]
