A large group led by Micheal Brennan and Anthony O’Connor enjoyed a five hour plus “easy”  walk in bright and crisp sunshine  that took in a route covering part of the Wicklow Way, Mullacor, Derrybawn, The Shay Elliot Monument and back to Glenmalure. The photographs below are from Derrybawn Ridge with the lunch stop atop Mullacor.  Ann Murphy led a “moderate” walk which involved height gains of well over a 1000m and a distance of 16kms +! This route left from the Glendalough Hotel, followed the Brocaghs up to Tonnlagee across the Wicklow Gap and up Turlough Hill before finishing with Camaderry and back by the Glendasan valley. Super walk and the steady pace made it very ‘doable’ and enjoyable.
