Due to a large contingent having decamped to Kerry for the weekend, there was a smaller than usual turnout for the Mt. Leinster walk on Sunday 30th October. Visibility was poor and the rain decided to come just at lunchtime as photo below may show!

Word from Kerry is that Saturday’s trek  was a marathon 12 hour transverse of the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks followed by a shorter 5 hour walk on Sunday !
