Twenty club members completed the full Blackstairs Walk from Mullaunasmear , east of Black Rock to Glynn in Co. Carlow (25k and 1500m totalclimb) on Saturday 25th June as the end of year walk with an overnight in Graiguenamanagh. A smaller group walked from Scullogue Gap to Glynn (14k , 830m ascent). As the weary walkers reached Glynn they were  met by Club Chairman, Ger Lynch, who presented them with a commemorative certificate!  The first walkers home were Alex and Colette in a time of 7 hours 7 minutes for the complete route. The more leisurely group led by Colin O’ Connor were somewhat slower in a time of 10 hours plus!
